For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Doctrinal Statement
Article I. God is a person who has revealed Himself as a trinity in unity: Father, Son, and The Holy Ghost. He is three persons and yet but one God. (Deut 6:4, Matt 28:19, I Cor 8:6)
Article II. The Bible includes Old and New Testament, which is a divine revelation. The original authors of which were verbally inspired by the Holy Ghost. (II Tim 3:16, II Pet 1:21)
Article III. Sanctification is definite yet a progressive work of Grace, commencing at the time of regeneration and it continues until the consumation of salvation. Remembering that without holiness no one can see God. (Heb 12:14, I Thess 5:23, II Pet 3:18, II Cor 3:18, Phil 3:12-14)
Article IV. Healing is for the body and is wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith and by the laying on of hands. It is provided for in the atonement of Christ and it is the privilege of every member of the Church today. (Mk 16:18, Isaiah 53:4-5, I Pet 2:24)
Article V. The birth is available to all mankind and when Jesus is accepted as Lord and Savior, salvation takes place and he is born again. His spirit becomes alive to God eternally. (II Cor 7:10, I John 5:12, John 3:3-5)
Article VI. Baptism in water is by Immersion and is a direct command of Our Lord. It is for believers only. This is to identify the death, burial, and the resurrection of Our Lord Jesus. (Rom 6:4, Matt 28:19, Acts 8:36-39, Col 2:12)
Article VII. The Baptism of the Holy Ghost is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus to be for those who are belivers in this dipensation and is received subsequently to the new birth. This experience is companied by the speaking of tongues as the Holy Ghost himself gives utterance. (John 14:16-17, Acts 2:38, 19:1-7)
